Baby Childs

Well, we finally announced that we are pregnant!  And we could not be more excited! 

We found out i was pregnant in the middle of July, so we have been keeping it a secret for quite some time, and i just couldn't hold it in any longer! haha! 

I'm officially 17 weeks, and i officially can't suck in my belly anymore! haha! Sometimes i still can't believe we are having a baby. I see everyone else having babies and i just can't believe that it's finally my turn! I am so happy, and this baby is already so so loved!

My pregnancy so far hasn't been awful, but hasn't been awesome either. I still feel sick a lot which is annoying since no one in my family really gets sick. Matt calls it the Childs curse because all of his sisters get really sick! I do feel like it's getting a little better though.

Over the last 7 weeks i have probably looked at this picture at least 25 times a day!

We didn't tell them until i was almost 13 weeks, but everyone was so excited and had no idea.

^we went in for an early gender check on the 9th and found out that we are going to be having a sweet baby girl! Matt thought it was going to be a girl from the beginning, but i kept going back and forth. The last couple of weeks i had a feeling it might be a girl, and had a few dreams that it was a girl, but i didn't want to say anything in case i was wrong and then people would think i had no mothers intuition haha. But sure enough, she said "well there are no boy parts, so that means this is your baby girl!" she even said, "she has very good girl parts!" haha! I seriously get teary eyed even thinking about it because it was just such a special moment! I would have been thrilled with a boy as well, but i think every mother dreams of having a daughter. I can't wait to see Matt with a little girl, i know he will be so sweet with her. We went to the mall after we found out and got a few little outfits and it was so fun (probably more for me than for Matt!) It's starting to make this all feel a little more real! (just a little)
