snow shoeing

for christmas my mom got us some snow shoes and i have been dying to use them!

so last week i went up af canyon with summer and 2 of her friends. i was actually surprised how much snow was up there. although the snow wasn't great i was happy to be able to try out my shoes.

i cant wait to go ago when their is lots of snow!

Happy New Year

2013 was amazing
im so grateful for all the awesome opportunities we had this year

- i turned 24

- matt finished real estate school
- i went down to newport beach with my mom & brothers

- we got our baby scout
- started going to petsmart more than the grocery store
- we both got new road bikes

- i did 2 triathlons & 2 half marathons

- went to lake powell with the childs

- did lots of camping
- went to more movies than i can count
- we got a new nephew and found out that we are going to
be getting 2 more nieces/nephews

-celebrated 2 years of marriage

- matt went on several fly fishing trips

- went to island park with summer & scott
- matt got another semester of school done
- i continued babysitting dakota & bridger every tuesday
- i found my first grey hair :)

- went to hawaii to visit mckenzie & josh

- matt went to his first nfl game
- i finally convinced matt to put christmas lights on our house
- celebrated our 3rd christmas married
- matt turned 25
- celebrated 8 years of kissing on new years

we have so many goals & fun things planned for 2014
i cant wait to see everything we accomplish!

Matt's Birthday

it's always hard to have matt's birthday right after christmas. trying to come up with another great present and all, plus it isnt easy on the bank account. haha. this year i splurged a little bit because i knew it was something he really wanted, and i knew he would be super excited. plus i love getting matt presents that are also for me. haha.

later in the afternoon all the boys went to shoot their shotguns they all got for christmas (matt got himself one for christmas & for finishing this semester haha)

 that night we went to matts parents & had cafe rio & matts favorite cheesecake that his mom makes
