we had a great memorial day. i love love love when me & matt have the same day off. it NEVER happens, so it has turned in to one of my favorite things just to be able to spend the whole day together.
we started out memorial day by going to the cemetery with the childs. matts sister has a little boy who passed away right before aspen, and their graves are literally 5 feet apart. kinda cool i think. i bet they are bf/gf in heaven haha.
so after the cemetery we went to lowe's and got some flowers. we have been weeding and trying to get our yard ready for some planting. i have been really excited to plant flowers. i just love how the yard looks. so we spent most of the day working in the yard. i must take after my dad, cuz i was just happy as a clam working in the yard all day. haha
we ended the night by having a family bbq at the new alpine park. what a beautiful day! i wish we had 3 day weekends every week!
oh & i have totally turned into one of those people who takes 1 million pictures of her dog. not even mad about it, she's so cute!
