sloane || 8 months

i seriously can't believe our little Sloane is 8 months old. it just sounds so old! This month was HUGE for Sloane.

Biggest thing being that we now have a CRAWLER. most people say that hate the crawling stage, but i have loved it so far.. haha. She is so much happier being able to get around on her own. she's getting pretty fast too! She loves it when i say, "I'm gonna get you" and stomp my feet. she tries to crawl away really fast and thinks its the funniest thing ever!

Sloane learned to clap and wave. Her wave is seriously the cutest thing in the world! matt calls it the gay man wave cuz its super girly! haha! and it might just be me, but i swear she says yay when she claps.

Her hair is starting to come in so good! i feel like its getting really thick, but still hasn't really grown in length haha. 

Sloane also got her first little tooth this month. every time i see it i can't help but laugh! its just so

little and cute!

is an awesome eater! she will pretty much eat anything we give her. i think she loves normal food the most though. little pieces of bread, beans, rice etc.

Is starting the pull her self up to everything (including her crib when she is suppose to be sleeping) 

has learned to hold her bottle pretty darn good, its honestly the best thing EVER. haha! i can just hand it to her while we are driving, or where ever and she can feed herself. its the best during the night too because if she wakes up we just hand her a bottle. ahhh i love it! haha  i know most people love feeding their babies, and i do,. but sometimes you gotta get stuff done. 

has really started to like books, especially the touchy feel ones. she loves to crawl over to her books and pull them out of her basket. 

still loves to pucker her lips! ha i don't get it? its so cute though!

in the mornings i will turn on some cartoons while i feed her some breakfast or she is drinking her bottle and she will sit and watch for a little bit. she loves paw patrol and doc mcstuffins.

sloane has pretty much mastered the fake cry (watch the video at the bottom) haha its so naughty!

is so cuddly when she is tired. putting her to bed has become one of my favorite things because she is so sweet and loves to cuddle.

i have really loved watching her personality develop this last month. She is learning so much and is getting so smart. She is so feisty but so playful and sweet!

St. George

This last weekend we went down to St. George with my family. 

It was fun to all hang out and just spend time together. 

The weather was gorgeous and i took way too many picture.. 

mostly of Sloane haha. She's just so cute!

On Saturday all but a few participated in the snow canyon half marathon and 5k.

Me, Matt, Noah, Dakota, Rachel, and my dad did the 5k while Summer, Bobby, Daniel, and Mckenzie did the half marathon. Matt pushed Sloane in the stroller and she was just as happy as could be. They even gave her a medal when she crossed the finish line which was so so cute!

the rest of the day we all just sort of hung out, some people went to the sand dunes, others watched football, went swimming, played basketball etc. 

 we were laying in bed and Sloane loves looking at herself in the phone camera so we were taking pictures and she kept making her pucker face. haha i laugh every time i look at these.

Haunted Hay Ride

On Friday night we went up to the haunted hay ride at Sundance with summer & scott and the kids. we froze our bums off but we had fun and i think Sloane enjoyed herself! Sundance really is so gorgeous, i think we'll have to start making this a tradition!
