Future best friends

I am so glad that Sloane has a little girl cousin so close to her in age because i know that "one day" they will be best friends. haha! I was babysitting Reese the other day and couldn't help but laugh at them fighting over everything. haha! The best part is that Sloane looks bigger than Reese in pretty much every picture haha!

Easter

Last year on Easter, Sloane was only a week and a half old. Crazy the difference one year can make. The picture of her from Easter last year is one of my very favorite pictures of her. I think she looks so so sweet!

Easter is definitely one of my favorite holidays! It gets me so excited for warmer weather (where is the warm weather btw?) and i loved putting together easter baskets for Sloane and Matt. Sloane was so excited about her basket and LOVES her Minnie. She will cuddle it and lay her head on it, its so cute! Now we are all having birthday/Easter withdrawals. haha!

Later we had an Easter egg hunt with our families. I would show Sloane the eggs and she loved picking them up and putting them in her basket. It took her awhile to realize that anything was even in them.

Sloane's Unicorn Party

I had so much fun planning Sloane's FIRST birthday party! Matt really didn't want to do one, but i was like "are you kidding me? do you know how long i've been thinking about her first birthday? haha! like since before she was born!" haha!  Not only was it a party for Sloane but a celebration for us for keeping her alive for a whole year! haha! Obviously she could care less about a party and will never remember this, but I'm so glad i have these memories to look back on and remember what a fun first birthday she had. 

For the longest time i wanted to do a mermaid party. But my mom got Sloane a unicorn rocker for christmas and Sloane loves it so much. So after browsing on pinterest for lets be honest.. several hours haha i thought a "unicorn party" would perfect! And i was so happy with the way everything turned out. The party was complete with unicorn cookies, a cotton candy machine, piñata, and pin the horn on the unicorn. It may have gotten a little chaotic with so many people in our little house, but we survived! hah! I was a little worried Sloane would get overwhelmed with so many people, but she did great,  i think she even had fun!  haha! I'm so glad so many people could come and show Sloane how much they love her! Sloane got so so spoiled, and has been loving playing with all her new little toys!
