our last hoorah

we realized late friday night that it was the last weekend before school
starts on monday.. so we figured we better do something fun saturday night
as a kind of last hoorah. this is how we spent it..

fancy eh? yeah we splurged a little! if you haven't been there you need to. it's one of our favorite places. so good and such a fun environment, the dessert is seriously out of this world!

on another note, earlier this week we were at costco and ran into antonio
from barter kings. we walked out of their feeling so pumped up cuz this sort
of thing never happens to us. anyways come to find out he lives in alpine. hahahahah.
so then we were feeling pretty lame. hahah! maybe one day we'll meet someone famous from outside the boundaries of utah county. but until then, we'll have to settle with antonio!

fly fishing

yesterday matt went on a guided fishing trip down the green river,
a supplier that wants to work with Patterson took care of the whole thing.
he spent all day learning how to fly fish, i know, rough life!
he said he had so much fun, and wishes he could do it all day everyday.

saratoga springs triathlon

summer talked me into doing another tri.. suprise suprise!

this one seemed a lot harder than the last one we did, i guess training for them 

really pays off! haha! but i still had fun and im sure ill get talked into doing a few more.

unfortunately we couldnt talk matt into coming and taking pictures this time. 

(i mean who wouldn't want to get up early on a saturday & come take pictures for 2 hours?)

summer got 1st place in her age group.

this saturday she is doing the 1/2 iron man, there was no way she could

talk me into doing that one.

christian's mission call

matt's little brother christian got his mission call on wednesday to Seattle, WA

yay! we're so excited for him! 

matt's mom did the CUTEST dinner after he opened his call. everything was missionary, it was so creative and so cute!!

me & matt are already planning our trip up to seattle to see christian!

We finally finished our basement that we (Matt) has been working on since we got married.

Matt put so so so so so much work into it and i know he's very happy to have it done. We had so many people come over and help out with it ( Thank you!) Matt did such a good job & i absolutely love the way it turned out, & we LOVE our new renters!!
