Well i survived a half year of being a parent. at times i really thought we weren't going to make it. haha. But in all seriousness Sloane has started to become so much fun. She has the cutest feistiest little personality! 

she hasn't quite mastered sitting up, but is getting better at it. 

rolls and scoots all over the place! if she see's something she wants, she finds a way to get it haha. I wouldn't be surprised if she strarted crawling this next month. 

is still waking up once during the night. at this point i feel like I've pretty much done and tried everything i can and now i just kinda have to embrace it and tell myself it won't last forever (hopefully) haha

still loves to eat solids. when we feed her she makes a mmmmm sound in between each bite. its seriously so so cute! i think she especially loves oatmeal, and she always makes a funny face when i feed her peaches, maybe its a little too sweet for her.

absolutely adores scout and loves watching her and seeing what she's got going on.

all of her hair is finally starting to grow back. still super wispy though. haha

loves going on walks with reese and hudson in her stroller.

is looking more and more like matt everyday! seriously, anyone who doesn't think she looks like matt is crazy. they are straight up twins!

still a total mama's girl. when other people are holding her and she sees me, she'll start to cry. its really cute and really annoying at the same time haha. 

laughs all the time and is super ticklish under her arms and on her feet.

Getting pretty hard to take places like out to eat and stuff. She wants to grab everything!!! And gets super restless. Up until now we could take her to the movies and she would just hang out.. that has sadly come to an end I'm afraid. 

Has really turned into a pretty happy baby most of the time. We have definitely come a long way! Haha

Wedding Pictures

Matt's little brother Christian got married a few weeks ago. Probably one of the prettiest weddings I've been to & we are so excited to have kye in the family! I wanted to post some pictures cuz I thought they were so cute! Sloane wasn't being a very classy baby & was crying in almost all of them haha But it made for some funny/cute pics!

sloane || 5 months

ill be honest.. 4 months was a rough one. She hit that 4 month sleep regression hard!! i seriously didn't even know that was a thing. (i looked it up.. its a thing haha) she also got her first little fever, and cried non stop for probably 3 days. it was horrible. she started fighting all her naps and not wanting to go to sleep at night, rough i tell ya!! she has started to sleep a little better at night.. but not where she was before. she went from sleeping through the night to waking up 2-3 times. AGGGGHHH! it really sucks! she's back to usually only waking up around once again, but hopefully we will start getting back to normal here soon or i might die! haha! it makes me feel kinda of bad cuz i see moms be like "oh i love getting up with them in the middle of the night, its so special and bonding, i love soaking it all in" and I'm over here like "uhhh are you even human? cuz this sucks!!" haha i dunno.. i guess i should enjoy it?? who knows? haha!

on happier note she is growing and learning soo much!

she is finally getting the hang of rolling over from her belly. most of the time she goes in to a downward dog position then falls over haha. what ever works i guess. but she scoots and rolls all over the place. sometimes when i lay her down then leave the room i come back and she's clear across the room haha

we started her on some solids. so far she has tried rice cereal, bananas, pears, squash, and sweet potatoes. at first she was a little stunned.. but i think shes starting to likes it.

getting kind of close at sitting. she can sit for like 5 seconds then falls over haha. i'm thinking this next month she'll start to get the hang of it.

loves to sleep on her belly with her bum in the air. so so cute!

totally recognizes her bottle. she'll get super whiney when she sees it. she'll either try to reach for it or put her mouth to it haha

still loves scout!! sometimes scout is the only thing that can make her stop crying. haha im serious, its weird.

loves to go on walks and sit in her stroller like a big girl.

arms and legs are still always going crazy. when i feed her a bottle i literally have to hold her arms and legs down or they go crazy! ive never seen a baby move as much as she does! matt always jokes that she is going to be a clogger when she grows up hahah seriously makes me laugh so hard!

loves to be thrown in the air. And laughs the hardest when i make her arms punch the air (if that makes any sense haha)

has grown out of most of her 3-6 month clothes, but still a little small for her 6-12 month.

loves to yell. its not crying, she literally just yells. haha

is a total mama's girl! i always said i would never have a child like that haha but thats totally how she is. when anyone else tries to hold her (besides matt) most of the time its instant tears.
